My fiance and I are are looking for land!
Who are we?

We are a young couple that recently got engaged. Emily is an elementary school teacher and Dwyer is an engineer with a small wood stove business. We built a little timberframe up in the Kingdom a few years ago and we’re eager to build our “forever” home closer to work and family. |

What are our priorities?

We are totally open to off-grid land or difficult access if the land has other attractive attributes. We don't have deep pockets, but we're not afraid of hard work and we have ample elbow grease.
What do we want to do with the land?
We want to build a modest homestead, an extensive food forest, and a strong family on it! We’re planning to use permaculture principles to make the land as resilient and productive as possible.
Our land management goals will depend a lot on the specific land we find, but we are definitely open to land that is already conserved in some way. We are NOT going to build any McMansions or condos!
It’s very important to us to be good stewards to the land and we’re open to rehabilitating land that is in rough shape. Our overriding goal is to leave the land better than we found it when we pass it on to future generations.
